Puff pastry snacks filled with grilled sausage!


Puff pastry filled with Halal Grill sausage

Ingredients:

  • 2 rolls of puff pastry (from the refrigerator)
  • 2 halal grill sausages, sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  2. Place a sheet of puff pastry on a floured work surface. Cut the puff pastry into 6 equal-sized rectangles.

  3. Place 2-3 slices of grilled sausage on each rectangle of puff pastry, making sure that the grilled sausage does not reach the edge.

  4. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with a little beaten egg.

  5. Place a second rectangle of puff pastry on top of the grilled sausage and press the edges together.

  6. Brush the puff pastry with the remaining beaten egg.

  7. Sprinkle the puff pastry with sesame seeds and possibly some salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Repeat steps 2 to 7 for the second puff pastry roll.

  9. Place the filled puff pastry pieces on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
